Who is this guy?

First, let me say what I’m not. I’m not some extreme sports snowboarder who rides down handrails or launches 30 feet into the air doing 900° turns. I registered iridesnow.com back in February of 2000, right in the middle of winter, so you can see where my mind was. Having said that, I do like to board, and I try to go as often as I can, which is never often enough.

I grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia and attended Penn State where I earned my degree in Computer Science. I moved to south Florida, near Fort Lauderdale, after college, where I stayed until moving here to the Bay Area in California in 1995.

I currently live in the middle of a giant redwood forest in the Los Gatos Hills, a.k.a. the Santa Cruz “Mountains”, definitely the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived.
