I spent a good chunk of my Sunday lugging, by hand, probably close to 1000 pounds of wood (oak) down my path to my wood pile. I still need to cut up the larger pieces and then split it all so I can burn it in my wood stove. But I’ll save that work for next weekend. I think I did enough today.

In case you’re wondering, I do have a standard natural gas heating system. The wood stove is just a nice extra.
